as I start this blog today, am reminiscing about what
delayed my decision all these years to finally enter the blog-verse and type
down my thoughts. why did I ignore the age-old suggestion by one of my
erstwhile teachers, or the continuous prompting (with sound reasoning) of a close friend? I love to write and have been composing verses since long, and yet I
was at a standstill when they asked me to blog. didn’t I feel the need with all
the pent-up emotions hidden inside, or was it simply because the privacy of my
thoughts would have been breached? maybe it was simply the laziness…
but as fate would have it, here I am, after a delayed start.
however, the toughest question this time was not to blog, but what should be
the name??
perhaps something that should represent my perception about
the mysteries hidden in basic day-to-day aspects & phenomenon of life
making these simple things ‘simple-nots’.
or maybe I was more intrigued by how the magnitude of the
severe difficulties & problems faced by individuals including yours truly,
would come crashing down just by a plain yet innovative idea, making these
enormous issues rather ‘simple knots’.
I was feeling fine with either of the two names, but then it
hit me all of a sudden during an indicative dialogue.
when am perceiving, observing or analysing something and
writing about it, it has to go through my thought process. however, the subject
or entity may be having its own unique characteristics as well. so the blog
should represent both its uniqueness and universality, as well as my own feelings
about it – starting from nothing, developing on its own, gaining momentum, growing,
reaching a crescendo, stagnating, and then dying down...to give rise to a new
one repeating the cycle…over and over again…
and when the series starts replicating itself in all the
universe, everything becomes – ‘simple naughts’ – initiating from point zero,
attaining initial growth, becoming complex, achieving its peak, and finally
disintegrating back to point zero…as a new chain of this series commences…
